{"id":80,"date":"2012-03-24T15:29:32","date_gmt":"2012-03-24T15:29:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/wordpress\/?page_id=80"},"modified":"2020-08-09T20:11:59","modified_gmt":"2020-08-09T20:11:59","slug":"committees","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ovuuc.org\/?page_id=80","title":{"rendered":"Committees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OVUUC is run by a number of volunteer committees and a few elected committees.\u00a0 If you have an issue directly related to a committee, please contact the board member who is the liaison for that area.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Volunteer Committee Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Buildings and Grounds Committee:<\/strong>\u00a0Takes care of facilities issues including upkeep and repairs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Canvass Committee:<\/strong>\u00a0Plans and does the annual pledge drive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Finance Committee<\/strong>: Assists the treasurer with putting together the yearly budget and monitoring and evaluating our investments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Membership Committee:<\/strong>\u00a0Deals with visitors and membership issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Religious Exploration Committee:<\/strong>\u00a0Oversees all aspects of RE including children&#8217;s, youth, family and adult programming.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Worship Committee:<\/strong>\u00a0Plans the Sunday services and ensures that any issues around services are addressed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Elected Committees\/Groups<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Nominating Committee:<\/strong>\u00a0This committee is responsible for recruiting and nominating people to serve in elected positions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OVUUC is run by a number of volunteer committees and a few elected committees.\u00a0 If you have an issue directly related to a committee, please contact the board member who is the liaison for that area.
